Graze Nibblebox Review

Graze Nibblebox Review

IN: Product Reviews: Subscription Boxes March 13, 2013 11:35 pm 0 comments

Graze BoxGraze boxes are small boxes of  yummy snacks that can be delivered to home or work once or more a week.

I was excited when I received my first Graze NibbleboxI don’t know why. I love experiencing new things, but I think the real reason is that Graze is really good at triggering customers’ emotions and creating incredible expectations. I’m a Digital Marketing professional, so I know something about it…

In fact, my expectations weren’t disappointed. This is why:

  • My delivery was scheduled for tuesday. I received my box on tuesday morning.
  • I knew I couldn’t expect the world for £3.89. I was surprised because value for money was even greater than what I could imagine.
  • I discovered new snacks I would have never tried otherwise.

What did my box contain?

Jaffa cake, 1 handful

Delicious Roasted hazels, orange infused raisins and dark chocolate buttons. Caution: They are addictive.

Korai chutney, 8 pieces

Spiced tomato chutney with baked curry bites. Odd flavour but nice.

Apple and cinnamon flapjack, 3 pieces

Rustic rolled oat flapjack with apple and cinnamon. Mouth-watering!

Lightly toasted pistachios, 1 handful

Roasted pistachios with a touch of salt. Not the best I had but ok.

Box Detail GrazePortions are small, but enough to treat yourself well for a couple of days…

The good thing is that you get something different in every box, but you can rate your ingredients and decide if you want them again or not through a very nice and clear user admin area on the site.

The only remark I have is on their marketing communication. They promote their snacks as healthy. To be honest, there is nothing healthy on a Korai Chutney. The ingredients are:

Spiced tomato chutney:

Tomato puree concentrate, onion, carrot, sugar, tamarind pulp, salt, garlic, acetic acid, ginger, cumin seeds, mixed spices, herbs

Baked curry bites:

Rice, sugar, tapioca starch, vegetable oil, salt, curry powder (contains lactose), caramel, turmeric extract, carotene, maltodextrin, tocopherpol, citric acid, yeast extract

Are we sure it’s that healthy?

I could say the same for other snacks in the box and others I’ve seen on the site. It’s a bit misleading in my opinion. Apart from that, I’m fully satisfied with the box and the service. I love the website’s usability as well. Looking forward for my next box!
