To eat in this little and gracious bistro you need to be patient. You will probably need to queue for an hour before sitting at your table.
Every Londoner wants to eat their incredible burgers and the restaurant doesn’t take reservations! The place is very small and tables are only a few.
You can kill time going for a beer in one of the pubs in the area. Give your phone number to the waitress and she will call you when your table is ready.
The simplicity of the menu makes it easy to choose what to eat. I haven’t count them, but they should have around 5-6 dishes, some suitable for vegetarians.
Now lets talk about their hamburgers: Delicious! The meat is the finest quality, succulent and very tasty. All hamburgers are served with hand-cut and rosemary salt-crusted chips which are just perfectly cooked.
Price? A cheeseburger costs £7, not expensive at all. Portions are not rich, which could be a problem if you are very hungry, but they do offer a special Honest Burger which is double!
Are you a vegetarian? It’s probably not the right place for you, but they do serve sweetcorn, cauliflower and shallot fritter-in-a-bun. I haven’t tried it but looks very good.
